

About Reginald Winston
Reginald Winston is the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 2, appointed in March 2025. As presiding judge, he provides judicial services while overseeing all court operations, including budgeting, staff development, and administrative management. Prior to his appointment, he served as a pro tem judge, gaining valuable judicial experience that continues to inform his service on the bench.
Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Judge Winston is married to his high school sweetheart, and together they have two sons. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an ammunition technician before being selected to serve as a Marine Security Guard at the American Embassy Mexico City, Mexico, and later in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He went on to serve as a Drill Instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina.
Following his Marine Corps service, Judge Winston dedicated 25 years to the Casa Grande Police Department, where he held a wide range of assignments including Patrol Officer, Special Enforcement Unit Detective, General Investigator, Patrol Supervisor, Professional Standards Supervisor, Captain, and Deputy Chief of Police. Concurrently, he served in the Arizona Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer, retiring at the rank of Major. His leadership roles include Platoon Leader with the 222nd Transportation Company during Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Company Commander of both HHD 850th MPBN and 860th MPCO, Battalion Logistical Officer during his second deployment in support of OIF, and, prior to retirement, Operations Officer of the 850th MPBN.
Judge Winston attended Grand Canyon University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Safety Administration and a Master's Degree in Leadership with an Emphasis in Disaster Preparedness and Executive Fire Leadership.
Judge Winston is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy and Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command.
Throughout his career in military, law enforcement, and judicial service, Judge Winston has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to leadership, public service, and community.
